I chair a parent committee and three days ago I sent out a “remember our meeting is coming up on September 4th” email. And someone has the nerve to complain about that? That I didn’t give enough notice?
Seriously?!?!
I am so irritated by this. This was part of our June meeting and posted on our website. And I’m certain NOBODY called me begging for the meeting dates. I am just a VOLUNTEER. As in: I volunteer to do this in addition to all the other crap I have going on in my life.
This was an “anonymous” complaint, so Mr. or Ms. Anonymous, if you or anyone else wants to take their time to volunteer to be a more efficient and effective relayer of meeting notices, please speak up at the next meeting. I could surely use the help. But if you’re not willing to help with a solution, don’t complain about it.
Step up or shut up.
