The jig is up! (and the jar is empty)

Maddie’s type of Angelman Syndrome is rarer, caused by a UBE3A mutation (more common is a genetic deletion that encompasses the UBE3A region of chromosome 15).  It’s pretty common for these individiduals to be overweight (article from JMG Online).  Perhaps this is some crossover of Prader Willi tendancies.

So Maddie is constantly trying to sneak food.  She’s been taking lots of short trips to the kitchen, but coming back with nothing.  Everything was fine until…

we find a HUGE jar of sprinkles completely emptied.

What a sneak!  : (

But pretty smart to have found a treat that leaves no mess, no smell on your breath, needs no spoon, requires no crinkling of a plastic bag.

But the jar is empty so the jig is up baby!
